Dawn paints colourful, quirky Gower landscapes that are inspired by travel posters from the 1930’s and 40’s. Using her own photographs she tries to capture a sense of what makes the place special. Dawn loves the strong, sloping pattern of the cliffs at Caswell Bay and the unmistakeable shape of Worm’s Head with its own little tidal bay. ‘ Mumbles Lifeboat Station’ was runner up in the BBC little painting competition in 2015.
Dawn’s landscapes are being sold as:- Limited edition Giclee prints, framed prints, mounted prints, greetings cards, postcards, bookmarks, notebooks and teatowels ( mugs coming soon).
